The trivia questions are in PowerPoint format.
The left buttons below link to PowerPoints with the trivia questions, one per slide. The non-math questions are suitable for any age from about Year 4 upwards. With the math questions, the early questions are most suited to Years 5 to 7. The later ones are more appropriate for Years 11 to 12. But any questions can be used at any year level. The right buttons link to the same PowerPoint as the left button, but with the answer on a slide immediately following each questions slide. Use this if you wish to see the answer after each question. A fun format for doing it this way is the 4-Corners Quiz, listed on the Maths Fun and Games page under 'Extras for Teachers'. Non-Math Questions Non-Math Questions and Answers Math Questions Math Questions and Answers Download the PowerPoint to your device, then open it locally. On a phone, click 'Present' (icon at the bottom left of the screen), then turn the phone sideways, so you can see just the slide, not the notes area. Flick left to advance through the slides. On a laptop or desktop, click 'Present' (icon to the left of the zoom bar at the bottom-right of the screen). Use the down key to advance through the slides. This last button links to a pdf answer sheet, one page without answers for competitors to fill in, two pages with answers for the quiz master. |
